English Hills Event Centers is a full-service wedding venue that is located in Comstock Park, Michigan. This unique establishment is pleased to host a variety of ceremonies and receptions on their property. They have been in operation for over 35 years and continue to provide exceptional food and event accommodations in the Greater Grand Rapids area. Whatever a couple desires, English Hills Event Centers strives to deliver.

Facilities and Capacity

English Hills Event Centers has a selection of six distinct rooms as well as two event facilities. These spaces hold a range of 40 to 500 guests, depending on the arrangement. There are also three gardens where couples are able to hold their ceremony. The Terrace Garden is a lush, green area that holds a capacity of 220 guests. Alternatively, the courtyard is a bricked patio that can host 150, all of whom can admire the landscaped ground beyond the arch. The Rose Garden is an expansive, carefully curated garden space that allows enough room for 800 guests to attend a ceremony. Indoors, couples and their guests will still have views of the greenery beyond, but they will be sheltered from otherwise unpredictable weather events.

Services Offered

English Hills Event Centers has a team of highly-skilled staff members that endeavor to accommodate anything that a client needs. Complimentary items include white linens, a head table, dinner tables, multi-purpose tables, chairs, a dance floor, a microphone, flatware, china, glassware, table numbers, service staff, cake cutting, parking, and both setup and cleanup. They also provide cuisine and drinks for receptions and other wedding occasions. Drink examples include lemonade punch, a champagne toast, a sangria bar, and a hot chocolate bar. Mocktail drinks are also available. Add-on services can include chair covers and sashes, table runners, a wall of lights, an LCD projector, and a screen.

English Hills Event Centers is located beside West River Drive Northeast, next to Bier Distillery. It's north of the Grand Rapids city center and is easily accessible via Highway 131, northbound. Grand River is a stone's throw from the property and overnight accommodation options are nearby.

Perfect In Every Way

English Hills was everything we needed. The event coordinator was incredible. Flexible, responsive, and kind. She was understanding and I felt like she truly cared about giving us the wedding we dreamed of. The prices were also incredibly reasonable, without sacrificing on quality. I'd recommend this venue again and again!

Highly recommend!

This is my 2nd daughter having her wedding at English Hills. They totally go above and beyond for you. I loved that they took care of so many questions and concerns and made my daughters wedding perfect.
We also used the Rose Garden at the 4 mile location for the ceremony and it was perfect!! Great for pictures. We had the reception at the ballroom on West River which is always beautiful. Food was great and highly recommend for a large number of friends and family.

Thank you Alex and Kim for being so patient with me during this covid planning and making both my daughters wedding PERFECT!!

Amazing experience

Alex and English Hills Country Club we're amazing to work with. We switched venues only two months before our wedding due to COVID restrictions and they were so helpful in making that process much less stressful. 4 days before our wedding we had to make the call to move the reception indoors due to storms and again, English Hills and Alex were so incredibly helpful in making that happen on such short notice. It was a seamless transition not to mention we received so many compliments from our guests on the food. We absolutely loved working with English Hills and with Alex and would 10/10 recommend booking your reception at English Hills. You won't be disappointed!
